Do you accept every dog?

No — every new pet meets me first. I care most about temperament and comfort, both for your pet's sake and for the other animals in my home during boarding stays. As a registered member of the IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants), reading animal behavior is something I take seriously, not just a box to check. If it's not the right fit, I'm happy to point you toward another local option.

What's it like at your home during a boarding stay?

I live on a small farm property with my own 2 dogs, 5 cats, a rabbit, a cavy, and chickens/ducks/geese/turkeys/guineas, in a non-smoking household with young children. The yard is unfenced, so outdoor time is on-leash. Most boarding guests stay in a private one-bedroom apartment on the property, with their own crate, bed, and toys; for pets who get along well with my own dogs, staying in the main house is sometimes an option instead. We'll walk through all of this in detail at your meet-and-greet to make sure it's a comfortable fit for your pet.

What areas do you serve?

I'm based in Whitehouse Station and generally serve clients within about 15 minutes. See the Service Area section above — and reach out even if you're just outside it.

Where does my dog stay during boarding?

In my home, alongside me — not in a kennel or crate for extended periods. Dogs get a consistent daily routine, walks, and one-on-one attention.

Do you offer pickup and drop-off?

Yes, for boarding clients in the service area — usually $50 total for both legs, though it can vary a bit by timing and location. Ask when you inquire.

Do you offer dog walking or pet sitting visits?

Yes — both, alongside boarding. I keep a small, fixed-schedule roster for walks and visits so every appointment stays reliable and on time; inquire about current openings.

How far in advance should I book?

As far ahead as you can — I keep a small client list, and popular dates fill up. The sooner you reach out, the more likely I can accommodate you.

What's your cancellation policy?

I ask for as much advance notice as possible. Same-day cancellations are subject to a $50 fee.
